One of the problems instructors have been seeing over the years is that even after students have finished MTH 299 (intro to proofs) they still need to be re-taught how to do the various kinds of proofs, so I typed up a strategy guide that students can fill out to study for MTH 299 and bring with them to their other classes.
To help my students reflect on their study habits, to gain confidence in what they're good in, and to see what they need to work more on I created an exam refection. This is especially useful for the MTH 299 mini-exam which is the first time the students will be timed and under pressure to do proofs.
